Statement
In the swirling depths of color and form, my art emerges as a dialogue between trauma and resilience. My journey begins with a singular hue, a reflection of a moment's raw emotion, which gradually evolves into a playful interplay of dual tones—each a camouflage, yet in harmony with the other.
My canvas is an arena for exploration, where the abstract interplay of colors and textures taps into the varied spectrum of human emotions. Through a methodical yet spontaneous process, I wield paint not just as a medium but as an extension of my innermost self, channeling my experiences into aggressive undertones and chaotic beginnings. Each piece evolves in its own time, with objects casting paint to create an initial vision, which I then nurture into balance, seeking joy and enlightenment amidst the contrasting colors that embody the eternal struggle of good versus evil, silence versus outcry.
My life is the canvas upon which my art is based, with each brushstroke derived from my personal saga of facing trauma head-on. In solitude, I have embarked on a transformative project I call “The Untitled Fairie Project,” which has become the crucible for my creativity. Isolating myself from external influences allows me to dive unfathomably deep into my pain, creating art that is uninfluenced, pure, and authentically mine.
The essence of my work lies in its capacity to evoke compassion for the misconceptions it may present, inviting viewers to look beyond the surface and feel the underlying current of strength that flows through the chaos. It is my hope that those who witness my art will leave with a sense of resilience, recognizing that within the tumultuous dance of darkness and light, there lies the possibility for transformation and growth.
